TM Award Echie On 22 April 2005 Aad Ouborg received the TM Award Echie. The TM Award Echie is a brand new industry-wide prize awarded to the top brand in the Benelux. The TM Award Echie Foundation aims to promote the responsible use of brands, logos, trade names and models. According to the jury, Aad was presented with the award for the clever and unique way he has raised the name recognition of his Princess brand. The winner is selected by a process of awarding points for various key criteria, including: the profile of the person/brand combination, market reputation, corporate reporting in the Benelux, dynamism, innovation and trend-awareness.

Kijkshop Suppliers Award On 22 May 2003, Princess from Breda added another notch to its impressive list of successes of recent years. During a celebratory get-together of the De Kijkshop in Kerkdriel, the Supplier of the Year was announced. Those nominated for this prestigious award were Philips, Van Zuylen (also known as the producer of Samsonite, among others), Allied, Trust (computers) and Princess. Kijkshop places great value on a good working relationship with its suppliers, using the motto “We are together in business”, and seeks to underline this by making this annual award, a bronze statuette made by Corry van Amerlaan. |

Sales Manager of the Year May 1998 saw the nomination in the Netherlands of Sales Manager of the Year 1997. The award was organised by the SMA (Sales Management Association). An honourable mention was awarded to Aad Ouborg, CEO of Princess, producer of a range of appliances including food mixers and toasters. One of five people shortlisted for the award, Ouborg was selected for his unique marketing strategies - no advertising, but superb events featuring leading artistes and entertainers where guests receive that special Princess treatment. |
